About Me
Kamakshi Arora
Hello there! I’m a designer who likes making things work for people, while also making sure it looks cool, stays accessible, and doesn’t feel overwhelming.

Here’s my resume, but if you’re short on time, read below for a quick snapshot of what I do/have been doing.

Right now, I'm working on two projects that really light me up. At Achieving Reunification Center, I'm leading a redesign of our Housing services while building staff literacy around service design. As a Behavioral Design Fellow with First Principles Lab, I'm researching railway safety in Southern India—understanding the behavioral patterns behind crossing decisions at high-risk locations

I have previously collaborated with Sahiyo as an illustrator and design consultant. Click here to see this comic strip I designed for them.

When I’m not designing, I draw and paint, mostly in oils, and I’m currently learning how to sew. I have been honored as Artist of the Year by the Welcoming Center. Read more here.
